3G TL - Ingalls RCamber, Rotora BBK, KNN CAI

Category: Accessories
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): CO
Item Condition: Used

Hi,

I have a few items up for grabs. It's been a while Azine, so let me know if the pricing is in the ballpark.

Read the descriptions, let me know which item(s) you are interested in and/or would like additional pictures. Embarrassingly, I will admit that none of the items have been cleaned or in photo shoot condition.

No reasonable offer will be turned down! Locals will have priority.

Item 1: Ingalls Rear Camber Kit - $75?
Purchased new, original owner.

Item 2: Rotora Big Brake Kit (front AND rear) - $200?
Well-loved but would recommend a rebuild and powdercoat. I believe they are the 4-piston metallic blue, 2-piece rotor set. The front rotors are slotted purchased from XLR8 (not sure if still a vendor). The rear rotors are slotted and cross-drilled.

Item 3: KNN Typhoon Cold Air Intake - $75?

Misc items:
Purchase an item and get free Tein or AEM sticker!
Also, the golf bag is NOT for sale.

Thanks,
-Kevin

I would like to address the numerous BBK private messages.

They came off of an automatic transmission TL.

Bottom line is that I do believe the calipers need mechanical and beauty work, so I have priced it more than fair – I would say a steal.

The front and rear BBK have been in my garage with brake dust all over them since the day they came off, I don’t plan on cleaning it either. lol

Calipers:
Aesthetics:
From a far, the calipers look good. But upon inspection, you will definitely see scratches and small spots missing metallic blue on the edges of the calipers – hence mentioning the re-powdercoat in OP.

Performance:
The calipers worked fine up until removal but I truly think they’ll need a rebuild or whatever the process is called. At the least, you will probably want to get the pistons checked out because I cannot guarantee functionality. You're buying as-is and I'm not looking to endanger anyone.

Stainless steel lines:

No leaks, did the job, but it has seen better days appearance wise.

Rotors:
They are the two-piece rotors. Again, slotted up front and slotted/cross drilled in the rear. I don’t see any stress marks but all four do need cleaning.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post in here so it's on a public stage and also so I don't have to private message individually.
If you would like to purchase the front and rear kit, then PM me.

-Kevin

Pads are included, still some life in them but not sure how much longer. I don't have a clue on how fast they wear out. All I know is that you can expect brake dust.

I don't know what the complaint was, and can't even imagine what it could be, so I removed the part of the above post where Souljah offered the brakes for bidding and said the highest bid was $400.

We absolutely don't allow bidding here, and it's an offense that could cause a Black Market vacation.

I can't stop people from offering more than the selling price, but the seller should accept it and not try to get more than that since it's already double the asking price.

If anyone is solicited to pay more than that, and let's me know, I will take the appropriate action.

Thanks, Ron. I absolutely did not intend to violate any rules - my apologizes.

Clearly, the item was not listed with an appropriate price (or I wouldn't reach my mailbox limit so quickly) and bidding was a poor choice of words. I hope it is acceptable to allow the best price offer and will let any enthusiast PM me their offer.

Please let me know what's the best way to correct this? Price change the original post?

Swoosh, I am trying to do the right thing. Unfortunately for you, you were not the first to inquire on the item so that's why there were complaints and I figured the best price offer would be a fair solution.

I want to make this right, so let me know what is the best practice for this scenario.

Thanks,
-Kevin

Not sure what went on in the PM's between you guys but I spoke with Rotora couple days back and I told them exactly what Souljah had mentioned in his first post, this is the quote they gave me to get the calipers ready and working:

I did not want to post it since Kevin was honest about it....but i think I need the other buyer to know this

Each dust boot seals=$5
Each oil ring seals=$9
Each rotor rings (330x30mm)=$235 (slotted) or $295 (drilled/slotted) each
Front brake pad=$166 a set
Rear brake pad=$146 a set
Labor=flat rate $75 (for front and rear)
Powder coat fixing = $50/caliper
Guessing it will be $1667 PLUS SHIPPING to get the calipers in working condition PLUS $450 to Kevin....yes I said $450....even after a warning from the mighly Ron A I get this PM from Kevin:

Thanks for your interest.
Are you serious man...there is ABSOLUTELY NO BIDDING on Azine...there have been many scenarios where someone has offered me more for my intake setup but i dont sell my integrity for 200 bucks....

I am still willing to buy this setup....IF I am the first in line...if there is someone else before me who wants HALF the setup (yes I have been contacted by SL13K), you can make a decision to sell the half to him and pay twice in shipping and sell the other half to me (I will just turn around and buy SL13K's brembo setup) OR you can sell the full kit to me and I will send you the paypal ASAP....either way, hit me up 201-936-one eight three two....

Souljah....you have been around a long time bud...you should know this....I think our paths have crossed before (in the black market) and you seemed to be a lot better at this then....

Did he send this today? Which would definitely be after I warned him. Please let me know the exact date and time of the PM.

We exchanged a bunch of PM's today about adjusting the price, and he said he wanted to list it for $600 or best offer. I told him I didn't know much about these brakes so I would let him do it and you guys could let me know the straight scoop, which you did above.

If he sent you the PM while we were negotiating and then told me a higher price, I think that we ight have to rethink this but I'll reserve my conclusion until I hear from you or him or both.

These don't really sound like the bargain they were supposed to be considering the high cost of the rebuild, but if someone desperately wants Rotora's who know what they would pay?

unfortunately, yes, it was Ron....today at 3:25PM

the sad part is, if I was the second on the dibs he would have sold it to the first guy....but i am the first on the dibs and I told him I will give $200 (which he asked in the original post) but guessing someone else came along and offered 300 and hence the "confusion" in Kevin's heads....

I am on a vacation (not Azine sponsored of course) with the pregnant wife and I have been following only this thread on Acurazine since I need new brakes...I havent even checked on my progress thread LOL...

either way, people posting in this thread on HOW GREAT the deal is, it really isnt....buying a brand new set will cost around 2500-2600 bucks....if Kevin sells for 600, you will be at around 2300+shipping+paypal....if Kevin sells for 200 (as he originally posted), now that will be a good deal @ 1900 bucks + shipping....
