Okay, I am selling because I have too many sets and these would work better on a lighter car.

Here's what they are. They are depo smoked tails (like the ones that fishcake/usr sells on ebay for $175) that I opened and modded to my liking.
Basically, I did the same treatment to them that I did to my originally modded "rockstar" tails.

Namely:

I painted chrome on the turn signal bulb area (hated how dim it was on the smoked ones). I then used my clear base brake area and signal lenses and gave them the red treatment. Painted/Cleared and compounded and polished to a shine. I left the bottom reflector smoked since it blends in nicely with the matte black bezel finish. Finally, the frosted led diffuser has been removed to give a more modern look when lights are on. The bottom bracket/tabs have been sheared off too, this enables you to be able to swap out tails in 20 minutes (after the first time, since your oem tails WILL be bolted to the body UNDER the bumper) in the future. The bracket that screws to tails that holds up the bumper can be secured to the body of car without the tails.

I have sealed using butyl ribbon all around and smearing it around to ensure it covers the gap completely. These CAN be reopened, but it is messy. I do NOT use any glues/epoxies because I like the idea of being able to reopen. I've had no issues with condensation with these for the few days I had them on. Feel free to run a bead of RTV or something if you want to be triple sure. The 2 screws that go back in are what really keep the assembly together anyway.


I'm open to reasonable offers although I will say that at $175 for the lights alone...I'm only asking $100 more for my time to have modded as well as shipping included.

Here is the only imperfection, it's an area between the lense and the bezel section, it looks silverish. I reopened the light to see if it was overspray or something, but you can't get to it. It's just the way it is. It's on top, picture ended up upside down.

Naw ghost tails look better on ssm

rockstar tails are freaky hot and look better on darker cars imo

I loved ghost tails originally, but the chrome in the signal was SO stark of a contrast on NBP.

I do love these, but honestly, I think the darker version would look good on a light colored car.
