255/40-17 NITT0 555's (4) (Long Island/Metro NY area)

Driven on these for about 12,000 miles. They still have plenty of life left in them. Took them off of my stockies during the winter and am now running 19's for the summer time.

Perfect for OEM 3G wheels...they really give the car a mean stance.

Tread depth above wear bar:

Tire 1: .140"
Tire 2: .165"
Tire 3: .170"
Tire 4: .135"

Tire 3 had a nail go through it and the tire was professionally patched on the inside.

I really don't want to ship. Local pick up price: $250 for all four. I'm in Oyster Bay, NY.

On the car:

I realized after the fact the the typical measurement is the total tread.

Figuring a 3/32 wear bar height we're looking at the following in 32nd's:

Tire 1: .140" --> 7.5/32
Tire 2: .165" --> 8.2/32
Tire 3: .170" --> 8.4/32
Tire 4: .135" --> 7.3/32

They are speed rated "W" meaning rated to 168 mph.

I didn't notice any difference in road noise when I put these on. I'd like to say they might be louder because they're wider, but I never noticed.

More pics:

I'd hate to call the fitment aggressive...It's just right.
