1997 Acura 2.5TL for sale/parts
Hello!
I have a 1997 Acura 2.5TL for sale or parts. It's hit lightly in the front and rear, so bumpers, hood, trunk lid, passenger headlight, and drivers q-panel are no good. The rest of the car is in perfect shape. The doors are untouched, the engine runs strong, the trans shifts smooth, the interior is like new, even the fabled "D" light is working! The airbags on this particular car are busted, but I do have airbags from another TL for sale. I originally bought them when I thought I was going to fix this car up. The car has 74,000 miles on it.
The rims & mounted tires are already on eBay, where my reserve is $300. The eBay auction also has a picture of the entire car.

If you would like anything else off the car, or the rest of the car itself, just reply on here and I'll be checking the thread periodically. I'm a trusted member on forums at altimas.net (rEvVoMaNiAc), bimmerforums.com (Paul G), and I also have a perfect eBay reputation (ce11ist), so even though I'm new to these boards, I am a trustworthy seller. If you are still unsure and need additional insurance, you can always ask me to start an eBay auction with the part you need.
Name the part, make me an offer, and I'll ship it. In terms of payments, I'll accept PayPal or Money Order.
As far as pricing goes, you make the offer. I'll accept most offers that aren't downright low-balls. I paid $900 for the entire car. I just want to make a small buck from selling it/parting it out.
Paul.

I've got another one! I now have TWO 97 Acura 2.5TLs for parts. One has a tan interior, and the other has a black interior.
I've now got two full interiors, two engines/trannies, two complete sets of doors, etc. Sorry, most of the front end of both cars is gone.

I would be interested in a cup holder door (I'm assuming they are all black). One of the studs that holds the door in the correct place in my car is missing, so I could really use a new one. I will check later if it is all one piece or not. The shift knob, if in good condition also, though I am not 100% sure. There are a couple other things too, I am not sure, but will get back to you.
edit: Tan floor mats (any condition, I have none) and the door lock actuator for the rear drivers side door.
Were there any aftermarket parts on either car?

Got the shift knob. Good condition. $20
Got the door lock actuator. $10
Let me know how these prices sit with you.
I didn't check to see if I have floor mats. I'll let you know.
No aftermarket parts, all OEM

UnsanePyro, I got your cup holder (I'll give you the whole thing; what am I gonna do with a cup holder without a door?). I got the black stud thing that holds the door in place... I got it off the drivers front door. I got the shift knob, which is in excellent condition. I also got the tan floor mats, which are in very good condition (except for the drivers, which is in ok condition). I didn't know what the door actuator was, so I guessed... is it the chrome lock thing right next to the handle? I got that whole assembly.
jerseydriver, I'll get that pic uploaded tomorrow.

Do you have the coinbox still?
The lid on mine is busted, figured I'd check with you first

I have the trunk mat. It's in very good condition. $15 + shipping... thing's big, so I hope it won't cost too much to ship. Do you mind if I fold it for shipping (if it can be folded)?
I have the coinbox, in perfect condition. $15 shipped.
I'm driving back up to Chicago in an hour, so you can PayPal me at romojap@fastmail.fm or PM me with requests for my Money Order address... and I will send all these things out when I'm back in Nashville at the shop, for New Year's, so in a week.
With any payment that you send, please remind me what you are paying for.
The shipments with the air vents is out!

Actually, even though I'm in Chicago, upon receipt of any payment, I'll just have my father-in-law, who owns the shop, take off the parts and stick them in the mail. A coinbox and trunk mat are not particularly difficult to remove.
So you won't have to wait a week after all.

Yes, I do, but it's not in extremely good condition. Maybe it just needs to be cleaned. But the Acura it was sitting in has no doors or sunroof, so it's been rained on, and in general exposed to the elements. Tell you what; I'll have someone in Nashville take it off and try to clean it, and if it ends up looking good, how does $12 shipped sound?

I'll let you know in a couple of days when I'm in Nashville next.
As for the rest of you, are you guys still interested in your parts? They're waiting, all packed and in boxes, but some of you haven't even asked for a PayPal or MO address.

Steering wheel... it's in excellent condition; sorry about the poor pic quality. The first pic was taken when the car was bought... the second pic was taken with a camera phone.

Yeah... if you don't mind if I roll it up, it shouldn't be more than $11 (what it cost me to send out some floor mats), plus a box for $3.99. How's $25 shipped sound?

Do you still have the plastic (KINDA triangular) plastic piece that is in the foot area of both the driver & passenger side? I think they're called kick panels but these aren't on the doors. Know what I am talking about? Here is an arrow pointing to where it is located. Remember, its in the foot area.
