19"x8.5" 2008 MDX aspec rims 5X120

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $1500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): RL 2G, TL 4G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): Can-BC
Item Condition: Used

Hi all,

I am selling a 2008 used set of MDX rims 5x120 pattern. They'll fit 07 and up MDX and 2009 up TL and newer RL. They're not the RDX rims from group buy here. They're not the same. TPMS are included as well.

19"x8.5" 45 offset, Part number STX 985A.
I've had them all refinished black chrome professionally.

I've purchased adapters for these rims. They'll fit perfectly on our 3rd gen TL. Test fitted and they're pretty flush.

I'm asking $1500US + shipping with adapters, these adapters were made from Motorsport Technology in California, heavy duty adapters, none of those cheap ebay adapters.

Pictures are posted below the wheels.

Here are some pictures:

Right now I'm pretty sad to find out they were 5x120 pattern after I've had them refinished. I was gonna put them on my TL. Time to have them in another home.

Here's some additional information, which is posted to avoid any confusion and to eliminate the need for people asking questions about these wheels.

These wheels only fit the following models, because of the 5X120 bolt pattern and larger 14X1.5 studs and mounting holes: 2005+ Acura RL, Odyssey, Honda Ridgeline, and 4G TL, 2007+ Acura MDX, 2009+ Honda Pilot.

Standard 2G RL and 4G TL wheels are 5X120, 17x8 with a +55 offset and 64.1 hub. Thread size 14X1.50

Wheels for 3G TL are 5x114.3, 17x8 with a +45 offset, thread size 12X1.50

The wheels being sold are not 17" but the other dimensions should be similar, unless stated otherwise.

are you sure these will fit Acura RL 2005s? (2nd Gens?)

Because I hear they may not clear the front calipers. Can anyone verify?

This is what my dealer told me...the MDX wheels do not clear the RL calipers. They should fit on newer generation Odyssey, Pilot and maybe Ridgeline, as well as the new ZDX, since they all have 5x120 and much less massive calipers. But "should" is the operative word.

For a TL, they may be a bit heavy since these are designed for a SUV. But they sure to look good.

i am not sure either, someone has to confirm that, but i don't see why they wouldn't.

I'm sure they use a similar brake setup on the RL as the MDX in my opinion they should fit no problem

RL uses the biggest brake ever used in Acura made by Advics. These wheels will not clear the RL's calipers without using spacers.

these should clear the brakes with the adapters. it's +45 offset stock and adapters are most probably not less than 15mm or even 20mm.

these adapters are just a little over 0.5" thick. They're indeed 15mm adapters.
i'm pretty sure they'll fit over brembos.

man why don't you just put them on your car. As I remember you said the seller told you they would fit on the TL. You got the adapters, now make them fit man haha It's a shame you got screwed over like that. If I get a MDX in a year and you still have these, I promise I will buy them of you haha

They fit my TL very nicely indeed, but there're something just more important than those right now. If I get a MDX myself in the future, I'm sorry.

^ see if you have seen them for 1/2 then provide links or places you have seen it, maybe he selling for what he paid plus i think thats a great deal not even the sellers like Tim well they ask that price but dont provide the adapters for 3g TL.

and hey *Lights, I bet these would sell quicker if you where providing tires, im just saying, dont mean to steal your thread. these are nice if i had the dough and didnt have my other sets i would get them and yet i still need adapters, where did you get them and how much?

Free bump.

Noober - All Acura TPMS do not fit all Acura. They are model specific. I learned this the hard way when I bought my 19" RDX wheels and the TPMS sensors didn't work on my 3G TL.

yea, those are for RDX rims with 8" wide instead of 8.5" and also mine are black chrome, not available in Acura at all.

these MDX tpms DO fit our 3rd gen TLs. Same model number. I've already confirmed that myself.
