The price is fair only because I know those tires (with 99% thread)alone run about $300+ each. So you are pretty much getting the wheels for free.

My .02

Most memebers are only looking for just the wheels. So, maybe you can dismount them, sell the wheels, and keep the tires but I guess that is if you still have the same specs with new wheels??

I apologize for cluttering up this thread but I can get these tires out in PA for $930 installed with lifetime everything, including lifetime road force balancing. So $1600 is steep. How do I know....my current set of MXM4's are getting low and will need to be replaced soon. That was the quote I got a month ago.

OP, I know you said OBO, but you will have a very hard time selling these at this price. If you really want them sold then figure out what you can afford to lose. Otherwise....GLWS.

RonA - Feel free to delete my post if you need to.

I will hyu soon ravinjcs for those tires cause i would love to get them for that price. I see them on bere for over 1g with wheels being 6outta10 and ok brand tires with low thread. So that why i price it at 1600 obo. Im going by what i see they go for online.. But give me a price u think is fair or what they go for..

Ok....so you're paying 930 for tires and 670 for wheels. Still a good price and it's still make an offer.

I don't get why everyone just tries to low ball people.

Op if you decide to separate the wheels from tires let me know. I have brand new tires so me personally not looking for tires just wheels. Good luck with the sale.

I wouldnt mind separate the wheels.. shoot me an offer. i just give the gf the tires for her wheels. and yes i understand. i figure wheels are 250 a piece and tires are 350 a piece, $1600 or best offer is a fair price.. like one of the member say, its like buying tires and get the wheels for free.. like i say on my post, just make an offer, worst i can say is no.. and if the price is right i will pay for shipping =)..

I wish these were for sale starting in a few months after i got my tax refund haha probably will be sold by the time I had the etra money. I would be making an offer right away. Best condition i've seen in a while WITH new tires that aren't kmart brands. People are just so used to seeing wheels with flaws and low tires go for cheaper as a "good deal". glws and bump to you

Thanks for ur 2cent. I agree. There a set on here that all curve rash, nicks and chips with shitty brand tires with low thread that went for over 1g. Hope we can make a deal soon.

Very interested in this set, you would be shipping to 97045. Please email me an estimate based on your $1000 asking price for the set including shipping to 97045 and hopefully we can work something out. I've been ready to buy for a while now, these look great although I'm not sure what you meant by:

"Updated! Tires are now 6/32 rear and 7/32 front!" What exactly did you mean by that?

Please shoot me an email or text. Thanks!

It means he measured the tread depth. In his original post he stated there was 99% tread left but at 6 and 732 it's actually about half tread left.

No, most tires come brand new at 7/32 unless you have a special tread or extended life. 3/32 is where the wear indicators are even with the tread

I might be interested in the wheels only. I don't want to be a douche and give you an offer that might insult you. How about you let me know how much total you want for the wheels + shipping to 76021? Maybe we can work something out...

Most tires actually come with 10/32 tread depth. A few cheaper brands may have 9/32 and some tires will have 11/32 or 12/32.

I doubt that any tires come with only 7/32.

You can check further at Tirerack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire-brand.jsp

False. Most road tires come with aprox 10/32. You'll see more on truck tires and snow tires. Wear bars are generally at the 2/32 area because that is where they fail state inspections. That's why they put them there.

I can personally guarantee that these come brand new with 10/32. I had these on my TL for 57K miles and checked my tire depth every month. I'm still at 3/32 on them and they are stacked in my garage because I have snow tires on now and I am waiting until spring to buy a second set.

Even at 7/32 they are very good tires. Hell, at 3/32 they were still awesome in dry and wet roads.

OP - I think $1000 is a decent deal for these. GLWS.
