I may be interested in the exhaust and the pro cats with the free installation. I'm going to do some research and get back to you. I believe the car is stock as far as performance mods go. What would I need to compliment the cats and the exhaust and will I be able to pass emissions with this install?

Man already plotting on MODS before your bought the car...Welcome and ur gonna fit right in

So yeah I have the CT exhaust and the Pro-cats and I love them. You will be fine for emissions and being legal. Dont forget to take off the Mid-Muffler.

As far as a FREE install man these take a while. I had a guy put mine on from here and he has done about 15 installs and it still took him 3-4 hours and that was on a lift. I was charged about $150 so im sure that shops will be more.

Thanks Ron, these cats make awesome power and give the TL a much more aggresive tone when paired with an exhaust system and J-Pipe

The shop name is Endless Details and the free install is for the Comptech exhaust only, not the pro-cats... as ron said, these take some time to install. Sorry for any confusion.

Hawk HPS Pads for Brembos are still available along with the factory steering wheel

I had a tick in the engine bay which turned out to be the timing belt chirp but in my process of diagnosing the problem I removed the j-pipe and checked the substrates in the cats and the rear upper cat had separated from the outer wall. So I chose to gut the rear cat in effort to see if the substrate was causing the tick while moving with the exhaust pulses. I didnt notice much of change at all in the tone of the exhaust.

If it's still available, I'll come up Friday with cash to check it out. Let me know if it gets sold by then.

It should be first come, first serve. If I like what I see, I'd be able to make the transaction happen on Friday. I guess I'll wait, but you should push the other guy to come sooner if he really wants it.

One thing that was not mention and RonJon757 can back me up on this: If you're going to do the procats, you need to dump the 3rd cat and pick up a race/test pipe. You will get the ultimate flow. And I'm not saying that because I need the 3rd procat either.

I meant first come as in "first one to pay". I've sold items on other forums in the past and sometimes people call dibs, then don't pay or delay payment, meanwhile the other people that will pay get screwed and you also would get screwed because you would have sold the item earlier. It should be the other way around, if the deal falls through with me on Friday, then he should be able to pick it up on Sunday.

Makes sense right? Just my two cents. Let me know if you change your mind, I'm not even sure I want it, but if I come through and I like it, you can have a sale on Friday.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but that's just not how we operate. Another member contacted us regarding the exhaust and is scheduled to drive up from NJ to pick it up on Sunday, do to his work schedule he couldn't get here any sooner. If your not even sure if you would like the exhaust, I would ask you to just sit tight and if the deal falls through on Sunday then you are more than welcome to swing by and check it out. But again, I have already told someone that they can have the exhaust so I cannot just turn around and sell it to someone else and I am pretty sure most other members will agree with me. I too have bought and sold on many forums and have seen plenty of people get negative feedback for doing such actions.

No Prob, I understand if you told him he could already have it. If you state that when selling the item it shouldnt be a prob.

Thanks, it was a pleasure meeting you guys and I hope you found something to do in CT. Let me know if you have any difficulty installing the exhaust, but like I said its pretty straight forward.
