I just wanted to add that my Acura TSX / Honda Accord euro CL9 was going into limp home mode quite often, sometimes 5 or 6 times in a reasonably short trip. Driving at low throttle openings seemed to make it happen more often, so taking off from stopped in heavy traffic or long straight roads.

Replacing this part fixed it.

What exactly was the problem?
You'd be driving along and it would feel like you hit a pothole, you'd lose a lot of power and the dash lit up with the check engine light, VSA light and the triangle with the exclamation point /!\. To get back to "normal" you needed to stop the engine and start it again.

Also, buying the whole 37971-RBB-003 unit from an Acura dealer was only $30 more than buying just the sensor. This way the potentiometer was already calibrated and I knew that I was getting a genuine replacement, not a 3rd party copy. Swapping out the whole assembly was a 10 minute job, I'm an electrical engineer and I can guarantee you that calibrating just the potentiometer would be painful.

Shipping to Australia was expensive but still less than half the price of buying it locally.
