If you are talking about the rear UPPER strut, it will NOT work on the CL. The CL has the same basic suspension, but the back seat and trunk are WAY different!!! On the CL, you have to take out the rear seat to install the rear shocks or to adjust them if you have Koni's, etc. It you put a rear upper strut on the CL, you can NOT have a back seat. This goes for ALL upper strut bars that are made for Accords. We would have to have one custom made to fit our cars and not leave out the back seat.

Skunk2 also makes a rear lower strut for our car, mounts in the same place that the OBX one would.

Hey guys,

FYI, I speak with blxmjx just about everyday. He hasn't received the bars yet. When I spoke with him last week, he said that he was hoping for mid month, but more than likely, it would be end of March. I am sure the day he gets the bars in his hands, he will post up that they have arrived and that he will be shipping them out!! I have done business with blxmjx in the past and he will come through. Just be patient!!! I have a lower bar on order, so I want the shipment to get here soon too!!!!

Thanks Rolie.

Yes, unfortunately the bars haven't been received yet. I will check on the status tomorrow. I'm hoping that they get here very soon. As soon as I get info on the status I will definitely post it here asap.

I really appreciate everyone's patience.

do you kno when you're going to go in on another group buy for the strut bars? and how do they perform compared to the neuspeed and comptech ones.....last question....how hard is the install for the lower arm bars? do you have to drill or is it pretty much just bolt on....thanks

I dont have mine yet, I'm in this group buy.
The pic belongs to peiqinglong, you can try asking him.
He has Tiens too, so he is pretty low.

Once everyone from this groupbuy has received their items then I will try to put another groupbuy together, if there is enough interest. All the bars are a straight bolt-on. I'm really not sure how the cusco bars perform vs. the comptech and neuspeed. I personally believe it comes down to brand preference. YMMV

If you get more lower bars, I will most likely be in, just curious if there are going to be any clearance issues.

What is the difference between Cusco, Comptech Titanium, and Neuspeed besides price? Is one better than the other? I read that these add little difference in performance, the strut bar. So is it based upon looks under the hood? Why is everyone getting Cusco? Opinions?

EEPOWER, everyone has opinions on which is better, but I went Cusco becaust it isn't as expensive as the CT, and I think it looks better than the neuspeed bar.

There are a couple of differences that I can point out to you EEPOWER. The main difference is that the Comptech bar is a REPLACEMENT for the stock bar. The Neuspeed and the Cusco are add ons to the stock bar.

The difference between the Cusco and the Neuspeed is that the Cusco goes in front of the stock bar and the Neuspeed goes behind the stock bar when installed.

Personally, I picked the Cusco bar because they make some of the best, if not the best, aftermarket suspensions in Japan. I also picked it because no one really has it, and I think that it looks better than the Neuspeed bar.

You need to decide what you want, and how much you want to spend, then make your choice.

What is better performance wise...the CT replacement by itself, the Neuspeed or Cusco add-on, or both the the replacement and the add-on? Doers this mean, you can actually put on all three at once? That would be funky

No, there aren't enough bolts on the top of the strut tower to connect all 3.
