*FS: Maya RT5 19x8.5 wrapped in Toyo Proxes for Acura TL!!*

Hi Guys,

Selling the rims for my gf. They're chrome Maya RT5 19x8.5 wrapped in Toyo Proxes for the 2004+ Acura TL. Two of the wheels & tires are brand new while the other two were only used for about 1 month. One of the wheels does have minor curb rash but the others are in perfect condition. Looking to sell them for about $3000 obo. Prefer NJ local.

Here are the pics:

Please pm me if you're interested.

Thanks,
Vin

Maya & Maido are one and the same company so either can apply. Sorry about the confusion.

Also, that's my thread but I opted to post a new thread since that thread is pretty old.

Thanks man. Actually the rash isn't bad at all. It's hardly visible because of the chrome, unless under close inspection.

Fixing them isn't worth it since the shop would be have to strip the chrome and then fix the rash, and then re-chrome it again.

Also, $3k is good price for the rims and tires IMO since she did purchase them for over $4.5k. But regardless, throw out a price.

would you happen to know the offset of these wheels?

also, do you have all original center caps and valve stem caps? (judging from the pics, it looks like you're missing one center cap; or did you just happen to leave it out of the first pic?)

Don't know the offset but the tires are 235/35/19, if that helps at all.

Yup she has all the original center caps and valve stem caps.. i popped it in after I took those pics.

Lolz damn you guys are pretty observant but just to clarify, although the pics may make the rims seem like there is a bend, there are NO bends in any of the rims.

Also, the price is $3000 or best offer so throw out a price. No harm in that just please no low balling.

Thanks,

I don't know what happened to my post from earlier but one of the rims is definitely bent. Pictures cannot make it look as if it is bent. Even from the first pic of all four rims, the rim is bent for sure.

Probably one of the mods removed your post. But I'll have my gf take a look at the rims to make sure if there is a bend or not.

I removed the post because the pic he mentioned first didn't really show it that good, and then you posted that there are no bends, but the latest post directed my attention to the other picture, which now does look like a bend, so it would be good if you could confirm this.

And thanks to ball4lyfe for being persistent.

Please get back to me as I am very interested in purchasing these wheels.

Thanks.

Alright guys, gf confirmed there is small bend on that wheel, but only on the outer lip. The inner barrel looks to be fine.

But as a result of this, price has been reduced to $2800 obo.

I think that you have lost a lot of credibility with the non mention of a bent rim......

Probably gonna cost ya more than $200 off the rims because it does appear to be shady whether intended on or not

Also is there anything else wrong with the rims that you did not mention??????

good luck though they are nice rims

Thanks for your opinion.. if ppl are really concerned about my credibility, then please, have someone come inspect the rims. I'm sure they will find it more than satisfactory. I have nothing to hide and am just trying to help my girl out.

Also, to fix the bend, it will cost you less than $200 at any normal rim shop.

Hey Vin, could you re-take pictures of each individual wheel? seems as if it'd be easier if we could just see for ourselves. The pictures that you initially posted show a wheel that's bent in multiple pictures, but I can't tell if it's the same wheel or not.

More pics including the rim that does have the bend. Also, the offset is +36. Thanks for looking.

Okay.. these still haven't been sold yet so willing to take any reasonable offers. $2300 obo takes them.

The wheel says it has a PCD of 112. Therefore, 5x112. Isn't this a fitment for Audis / etc, and not for Acura TL, which is 5x114.3? Please clarify, I have a friend who is interested but for a 5x114.3 fitment on his TL.

Thanks

These 100% percent fit on an '04-current Acura TL unless the bolt pattern changed after the '04 models. My gf's car is a 2004 Acura TL and she had no fitment issues.

FYI, a PCD of 5x112 can be stretched to 5x114.3.... probably not the best thing to do, but it is feasble, and im pretty sure other people have done it...

Yes, its still bent but it's not leaking air. It still has roughly the same psi since the last time i checked which was awhile ago. We can have the bend fixed but at the buyer's cost.

Beautiful rims brother, very nice.... But i don't get why you wouldn't just fix the damn bent rim.... You would surely have a better shot at selling them that way... IF you need to recoup the cost add to the price, but fix it and be done with it!

Thanks man!

Easy to answer, my gf just wants to sell these rims outright, the quickest, most hassle-free method possible. Plus, with me working/living in NY and the wheels being in NJ, I don't have time to take it to get fixed.
