Corrosion Protection

This is one of those BS items that dealers love to sell, along with all the other high-priced add-ons such as paint protection, fabric protection.... Huge profits in those.

My friend had one of these electronic corrosion modules installed when the car was bought new. Really, you do not want to know the price. They are worth about $5 in electrical components, if that.

You are far better off getting your vehicle treated by Krown. My old 1999 Honda CR-V is in the hands of a friend now and it is rust free, 22 years later. I last Krowned it in 2012; I believe he hasn't done anything since as far as Krown is concerned.

So if this thing is supposed to work so well, why is there a hole in the quarter panel of this car when it was 8 years old?

Yes, do not use these electronic rust control modules - unless you a steel-hulled boat submerged in water.

Go with Krown Rust Control treatment.

1999 Honda CR-V after 14 years of 4 month a year winters with lots of road salt being used. Krown T-40 that I apply myself. Same on my 2017 Acura RDX.
