It depends what you are looking for. Personally I use Curry Acura for OEM parts and Rock Auto for OEM replacement parts. The both use FedEx so there is no extra shipping charge. Shipping is prompt and not expensive in comparison to other competitors. Prices are great as well.

Bruce is a great guy, i dealt with him long before he became a vendor on here.
He'll take care of the COD in the shipping price.

I once purchased a full TL-S A-Spec kit with a TL-S front bumper for 900 with shipping. That was an INSANE price.

I highly recommend NOT using UPS from most vendors though. I believe Bruce shipped via UPS and that was a good experience, but generally speaking UPS sucks in terms of COD and customer service.
You could also check out Kinek for us/canada cross border shipping.

Brakes and rotors for ZDX

I'm in Toronto, Canada and am looking for front and rear brakes and rotors for my 2013 Acura ZDX. The local dealership quoted $690 for the parts taxes included.

If I can get them for much cheaper, in the US, I'll gladly order.

Can I get a price on these please?

They are a rip off. Their prices are literally double. They quoted me USD 1100 for parts alone.

I suspect it depends on the part in question. I have no reason to disbelieve that they quoted you more for the brake parts, and I assume you satisfied yourself that they were indeed the same part. But I can speak from experience that they were the best deal I could find for a replacement headlamp assembly last year; much cheaper than buying from the local dealer.

Sadly, I'll have to by another headlamp (other side) within the next month or so.

Rock Auto is good, no extra delivery customs or tax charges. These are usually surprise add ons by the shipping company at the door. I usually ship to a warehouse across the border and pick it up from there. Canada Customs collects GST/HST.

"Bernardi Parts" sell OEM parts/ accessories and ship to Canada. Convenient if you live in Eastern Canada being that Bernardi are located in MA. Not only are their American parts and accessories much less expensive than at Canadian dealerships, but they often have some of them on sale. At the dealership I frequent, the price of accessories are the same as online prices at Acura.ca - not a penny less.

Unless you're not close enough to the border to make it worth it, why not ship to a package holding service in the US like The UPS Store and others?

You usually get free shipping for shipments within the US and the cost savings alone will pay for your gas. And then while there, I'll pick up a few jugs of oil and other things that simply are available here and if they are, they are nearly double the price.

The last time (decades ago) I had anything shipped to Canada shipping cost and brokerage fees were just plain stupid.
