Anyone here polish chrome wheels with curb rash?
I have a chrome lip on my rims that I would like repaired of curb rash. Any good wheel specialists that have expertise in chrome lips with curb rash?

No buffing that out. Chrome is a very thin coating. It only ranges from 0.002 to 0.02 mil in thickness.

First things first. The lip is probably not chrome as most wheel manufactures dont put chromium plating on average passanger car wheels. It can be expensive.
Instead they tend to just polish the aluminum.
Which I think led to Maker saying the rash cant be buffed out.
Of course it cant. The rash needs to be repaired, which is I believe what the OP was asking about in the first place.
Show us a picture of the curb rash.
Chances are it can be repaired if it is just a rash and not a bend or crack. Rashes and very easy to repair and many wheel repair guys can even drive out to you and repair the wheel while still mounted on the car. I know one place in So Cal that does.
You will need the wheel repaired, then the polished lip repolished to get the same shine.
Your local tire or wheel shop will know someone to take the wheel to.
