What is your favorite thing about your Camera?
Regardless of model/make, what is your favorite aspect of your cam? For me (at the moment), LIVE VIEW!

Creepy guy in the mirror.
The price... I got a great deal on it, along with most of my other accessories. I have less than $2k total invested in all of my gear. That may sound like a lot to some, but to many here it is pocket change.

The size.
I just love the larger more solid feeling cameras.
As for features...I love the digital level.

As much as I would like to have Live View, I'm pretty pleased with the 30D.
Favorite feature is probably no shutter delay and high FPS. Of course these are features most if not all SLRs have, but its still a huge deal.
If you don't like it, I'll trade you.

I like the 40D's live view also; it's a useful feature that I use regularly. But my favorite thing about digital SLR's is their responsiveness. I love that when I need to get the shot right now, there's no problem.
That's something even the best compacts just haven't been able to match yet.

xt= the 1.6x on long lenses, it was light. (sold)
1D= everything but the 1.3x and 4mp.(sold)
5D= Full Frame.. 12mp is alright.(current)
If i had a 1Ds. I would have no complaints. (except maybe those huge expensive batteries that don't hold their charge and even when they do, die super quickly. And that the charger is bigger than the camera.)

Not specific to the D300 but more Nikons in general....but I just like the fact that it feels solid in your hand. A big reason I went with Nikon over Canon. The Canon's felt 'cheap' in my hand if that makes sense and the grips generally speaking were cramped.
