Which Used Canon 35mm Camera Should I Be Looking For?
OK, I looking for a used newer Canon Film camera to compliment my Digital Rebel so I can use the same lenses and not have to carry to sets of cameras. I have an old Canon T70 and a four year old Minolta XSTi.
I was hoping to try and trade these 2 to get the aforementioned film camera.
Thanks

Thanks, I was trying to PM you on this, it wouldn't let me load a PM page last night. Is there a certain model to look for? I know there the 7e as well. I trying to read Canon's website on them but the java or flash is a pain in the ass.
What's SS, I can't figure it out?

There are two models of the Elan 7. The "E" has eye focus, whereas the other one does not. I did not bother with that "feature" as it was just something else that could malfunction down the road. Not worth it to me, but I know there are a few members here who enjoy that feature and haven't had any probs. Otherwise, the two models are identical. I've really enjoyed shooting with it.

I've been considering picking up a Canon film SLR myself - the prices are darn near irresistible right now and I still have a soft spot for film shooting. B&H has the Elan 7NE for $340. Given the feature set, that's a heck of a price.
Anybody have any opinions on the future of film and the availability of processing, etc?

^^ I would say film will be around for a while. I spoke to the local camera shop about what I trying to do. She told me the my old T70 wouldn't fetch much, I told her I just didn't want it to get thrown out. She told me to contact the local High School. Because of the cost of DSLR's they'll be using film for a while.
I e-mailed the Photo Club sponsor, I hope they can use it.

I stand to inherit the camera someday, and it would be nice if film is still around. I suspect it will be for years to come, but processing may be a little scarce. It already is.
