Underwood Family Farm

Decided to take the boys out for an adventure today. We heard about this farm way up in the valley that is pick your own produce place. Also discovered they had animals. Very fun day with amazing tasting strawberries.

I'm sure you had a blast. We love taking the girls strawberry picking. SO much better than store bought.

I haven't been since I was a little kid...they are SOOOOO good.

Wife is going to make chocolate covered strawberries tonight...mmmmmm

But this place has TONS of other stuff to pick, and they keep it rotating seasonally. So we picked lettuce, beets, zucchini, etc

Its only about an hour away, we'll be taking the kids there every now and again.

David, your kids are walking?!

Very good pictures! Love the one with the little guy biting into it. Was that his first strawberry?

Yeah They started walking a couple days before their first birthday. Solomon is more or less running now...fast little bugger.

Far from their first strawberry. One thing I can thankful about is if they decide they don't like the taste of something they ALWAYS love fruit. blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, watermelon, etc

I've dealt with a lot of farm equipment in my days, but I've never seen any turned into a slide Now the wheels are turning in my mind

Nice pics though! What kind of animals were there?!

turkeys, goats (and kids), horses, a cow, and bison like animal of which the name escapes me...and a peacock and some rabbits. Probably a few others we didn't see.

The kids and sheep were the only ones in the petting pen.
