Every summer the Army does their "Twilight Tattoo" the 3rd Infantry, Old Guard, performs. I went last night, very enjoyable. I wish I was in a better spot, when the Drill Team started performing I realized that I was not at a good angle. Plus some dillhole set up a video camera where he was in my line of fire for 50% of the shots.

The third one where you captured the flash of the guns is tres cool!

 

It was the first shot of 10fps, the smoke was like the third frame.

Not only did you get the muzzle flash, you literally got the "flash in the pan" too.

 

Great set, I wish I could shoot at 10fps.

This was between 730 and 830, with the sun coming off the Potomac River. With almost no clouds. I was nice.

^^I agree that's an awesome shot! Incredible shots Jupiter... What camera setup do you have, I'm in the market for an SLR and exploring all my options. Did you edit these before posting?

WOW... If this is what I have to look forward to when getting my new camera I seriously can't wait!

 

I shot these with a Canon 1Dmk3 with a 1.4 ext and my 70-200. Some PP (lightroom) was done but not much.
