Too quick to move?

As some of you may know, I picked up my Canon S5 IS in november 07...and I've been taking a lot of pictures. I've been seeing these amazing photographs and shots on here and I really felt like I didn't have the proper gear. I'm still a noob, rarely have time but taking the steps to get there. To sum this up, I still don't know how many things work let alone on the S5,but I picked this baby up. Amazing price for what I got...Some will be saying or thinking it's a waste because I'm not experienced, but it's a toy and didn't get myself anything for christmas this year anyways.

If you're going to use it, it's not a waste. If you're not going to use it for the features it has compared to a P&S, then you're definitely not getting your money's worth.

Congrats!!!
