anyone picked up a Cannon Ti2 yet? If so, details please. I'm looking to buy one soon

 

You mean a T2i?

 

if this is your first dslr than it will be perfect. Has great photo capabilities and can shoot HD as well. I went from a T1i to a 7d and absolutely love my 7d.

yeah T2i...my cousin has the T1i and I like it...thanks for the advice and yes, it is my first.

 

i just got a T2i and i also got a 55-250mm IS lens that is awesome with it. highly recommended camera

Ditto, I love mine, the video part is tricky for me to get used to, but man it takes good enough pictures for me as I'm just a novice.

 

another thing, go out to best buy or similar. Get the camera in your hands and make sure you like the feel of it. The Rebels are small and toyish in my hands, and therefor hard to operate without a battery grip, and then added expense of one to your purchase. The other option in the 50D, but then that is $200ish more than the T2i, but doesnt have video, if thats what you wanted

 

I just got the T2i with 18-55mm kits from Amazon. I also bough Sigma 50-200mm OS telephoto lens. I love the setup. The pictures are great. I am still learning the features available on this camera.
Now I am looking for a camera backpack to carry all the kits with my laptop.
