Thanks guys. I like the perspective of this shot (super low angle), which is difficult to do from car-to-car. The angle gives it a very aggressive stance IMHO. I saw one guy once do this from car to car. He literally had his camera attached to his tripod and had it hanging upside down outside of a passenger side window.

Been wanting to do some rig shots focusing just on the wheels, here are some results.

I have to say one thing, you're doing some kind of gradient darkening on the top of your images, that's causing some weird effects. I think your shots would look better without that. I would love to take a look at one of your RAW files.

yeah, the gradient thing is something I've been doing when I'm trying to reduce or tone down a blown out area.

there's a way to do it without it looking, grey - which is what is going on in your pics. the trick is finding the sweet spot.

oh and, blown out area is not always bad, especially for lights. for certain lights, given correct exposure for the rest of the pic, they SHOULD look blown out. leads to a better overall looking image, in terms of balance.

like the light right above the rad-ass blue Civic..

a bit too much noise in the first edit, so retouched this one a tad:
