yeah, the focus was off on that blonde... I had to time it until people got out of my way, at the same time, she was walking closer, I snapped it just as there was a clearing but I had the AF point off to the corner at the time (I think)... I know I had the AF point selected to the top right earlier on... it was when I took this shot...

For those in or visiting DC and interested in street photography, the National Gallery of Art has a Garry Winogrand exhibit that started yesterday and goes through June 8th on the West building.

I attended a lecture yesterday by one of the curators - the exhibit it excellent. A lot of the photos are posthumously printed, since he left thousands of rolls of undeveloped and even many more thousands rolls of developed but unreviewed photos when he died.

a friend of mine bought a cheap Minolta 28-85mm lens and wanted me to test it out on one of my full frame Sony bodies since (I think) he's planning on going FF eventually...
