If you were out shooting something and caught something you weren't expecting, post the image(s) and story here.

On a drive from Sterling to Balloch, Scotland, we passed a bunch of hairy cows grazing in a field. I pulled over and got out of the car to grab a few shots. This guy was staring me down as I approached,

but by the time I was close enough for a good head shot, he turned his attention back to grazing.

Since he ignored me, I start shooting some cows that were a little further away and caught this...

When you gotta go, you gotta go, but this came out like a waterfall and made me and at the same time.

Judging by the sequence of events, I think he was meaning that in your direction. Damn cows these days!

I totally missed an unexpected moment yesterday, taking pics in the city - I was taking some shots of the traffic on I-94 and at one point I was just kind of gazing at an odd event taking place, but not pointing my camera - an DOT vehicle was using a megaphone to try to get two cars to move over to the right and get off the expressway, for some reason. Traffic was moving slow so I was just watching this happen. The 2 cars were not moving over so the guy in the DOT truck GETS OUT of the truck (he is like in the middle lane!) and walks over to motion them to get out. I should have got the shot of this guy standing out in the middle of (what-was-slow-moving but was now stopped behind him) traffic - there would have been so many caption opportunities for that shot. "And now you know the cause of Chicago traffic".. etc..
