Photography Magazines

I did a quick search and nothing came up.

I'm considering starting a subscription to a photography magazine and have a couple quick questions.

Which one would you all recommend (if any)?
Would you recommend more specific magazines? (i.e. Outdoor Photography)

I'm looking more for helpful hints and tips than equipment reviews. Although equipment reviews are always interesting to read.

Or since I'm looking for hints/tips, should I just stick with instruction books? I recently picked up Understanding Exposure and am liking that.

OP is a good one, especially if you like shooting outdoors.

Also Popular Photography though has a lot of ads and crap, does have some good how to's. I like their series on how to change it. They take a picture and adjust and crop to show you how to do it better.

Lenswork is still my favorite photography magazine by a good margin, but it has absolutely zero info for how-to's, technical articles, or industry news. It's refreshing really.

Popular Photography, Outdoor Photographer, and Digital Photo Pro are pretty good for technical stuff.
