Just wondering if one brand was superior to the others, or if there were any to stay away from.

Just got a PowerShot SD400 and I can see myself filling up the 16mb card pretty quick...

With the sandisk cars, is it worth paying the extra for the "Ultra 2" or will just a regular one do?

I've got the Sandisk Ultra II Pro 1gb. I don't ever have to use the usb connection for my SD450. Just pop out the SD card, and plug it right into a USB port and download images

Haha, shit, I didn't even realize last night that it was only a $6 difference.

Seems a lot more affordable than a couple years ago from what I remember.

TSX, does the SD card itself plug right into the port, or do you have an adapter? Don't you need an adapter?

no adapter needed. You fold half of it down to reveal the hidden usb connection and just plug straight into a usb port. When I bought it, I think it was only a $10 difference between the Ultra II and the Ultra II Pro.

That looks like the one.

I got mine at Buy.com: http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...9&loc=101&sp=1
looks like it's cheaper there too than tigerdirect. Newegg seems to still not have it in stock...
