One more thing about the charger. Though I bought it for Fuji batteries. They have removable plates, so you can recharge just about battery.

Here you go. https://www.greentoe.com/

It's pretty cool. Sometimes its worth it, sometimes not. In my case, if it my offers get accepted, it will be worth it.

I too think I will be jumping ship to Nikon. I got to shoot with Rockstar's D7000 a few weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed.

Looking at a D7100 on Fredmiranda, hopefully the guy replies soon.

D7100, pretty good camera. It's almost a two year old body, it was announced Feb 2013. So you may be able to find some good deals on it.

Most thinking Nikon will announce it's replacement soon.

You will soon realize that it's natural, so stop fighting it.

Though I will say the D750 isn't a probody layout, like D800,D3 and D4.

That's one of my biggest reasons to choose this over the 6d I was looking at. I use my flip out constantly.

That being said, how is Nikons live view?

I was set the other day and someone had bought a d610 and brought it...I got pegged as the "Nikon" maestro since everyone else on that job is a Canon user...and even I had a hard time figuring a couple things out. Mainly how to change the aperture when in live view...and you can't...you have to exit, change, re-enter.

That is the dumbest fucking thing, especially when in shooting movies. It makes no sense, wastes time, and causes stress on the internals.

No clue why Nikon did that. But, again, its not like that on their pro bodies.

I hope that isn't true of the D750.

Just read in multiple places the D750 allows live view aperture control....crisis averted.

Ended up buying a D7000 and a 50mm 1.8G, now to compare to my 60D and probably end up selling all my Canon stuff.

And this is the big problem...because many people think its ALL Nikons that are like this.

Their pro bodies ARE NOT like this.

I know that, just curious on who made that decision to restrict it in the first place regardless of the body is pro or not.

Congrats on the 750 and 7000 acquisitions Sirs. Looking forward to seeing your photos that come out of them. My wife said my present is going to show up tomorrow and she is afraid I will know what it is when I see the box. I'm kinda sorta praying it's a 750.

I think it's a bang for the buck thing as far as bodies are concerned.

When Canon released the 5D2, they went the line of video, not image quality. And they excelled with it. Nikon went with IQ and dynamic range, and not doing video kept them away from many eyesight. Now that they are adding video they have the IQ to make a better all around body. Still might be some short comings for some.

Sony, well Sony is Sony, they make bodies, quickly and rely on others to make lenses. Or get adapters to use old school lenses.

i agree, there are so many choices on the nikon lineup that its hard to justify staying canon.

I just wonder if canon will realize not giving what people want will make or break the company. Granted there will be people who will buy their products at any price since its a tax right off for them.
