^ The Nikon print can be scratched off. Now that I've used it a little more, I have a problem with the circle end. It's rubbing off and leaving little boogers, like what a pencil eraser does.

I mostly use a lens cleaning/microfibre cloth.

^^^ That's what I'll be doing. My OCD will not let me use this brush anymore. It's getting dirtier use it with the boogers. When I clean glass or mirrors it has to be perfect when I done. This ISN'T working, thankfully only $8, the brush part is good though.

I have the same pen, but it's by a company called LensClear and it's grey.

This isn't Nikon bashing, it's Lenspen bashing.

I'm pretty sure the original was the Lenspen brand aka http://www.lenspen.com/.
It then started showing up under all sorts of brand names/etc.

I never thought the thing worked well at all, personally.
If you buy one, be sure to test it out on some random piece of glass before you use it on your lenses, or rely on it in the field! (good advice for any new piece of equipment actually)
