Is this the best camera at that price point? Since I was discouraged from getting a computer right now I thought I would go ahead and get a real camera but I don't want to spend a grand on a body alone. Any cameras better that come with as good a lense? (I read reviews that this lense was good that came with it).
Will this camera wear out quick? Like will after a year or so of use will it be outdated and make me want to get a better one or does it take pics as good as the pros? (I know its not the camera its the photographer but you catch my drift)

JR Music has one for $650 w/ lense and a 2gb Sandisk SD Card for $79
With tax it would cost me the same as if I paid 599.99
but it comes with this lense...
18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor Lens
