i like that you could use it and no one would know wtf it is.

i tried doing "street photography" while in Hong Kong. doesnt really work out well with a 1D and 24-70 being pointed in your face.

in hk they have fuk road lol, but yea i would probably use a micro 4/3rds if i were ibto "street photography"

I go out with my 50D and the 17-55 2.8 (w/hood) often - not exactly a small package. Though I'm using my 28mm 1.8 more frequently now for stuff in the street.

One of my cameras has a really cool tilting screen + live view, I can hold the camera like I'm messing around with the settings (looking down) but actually taking pics

But seriously, it comes in really handy especially for candids
