dang that 17mm ts-e looks crazy. I know there are a lot of crop guys that were wanting a ts wide enough for architecture shots and such. I want to see some samples of it on FF though.

Wow that SX200IS is crazy... that many features in that small package!

And is it me or is tilt-shift the latest craze?

Tilt shifts have been around a long time, but they've always been pricey. I think of them as more of a specialty lens, but you can do some really interesting things with them. There's been times when I was shooting buildings that I wish I had one.

If you want a video camera, get a video camera. Those two are limiting.

When I saw the image of the 17mm TS-E last night, the first words out of my mouth were "that's a $3000 lens right there".

I haven't seen US pricing, but it's listing for 2500 euros!
It's one of those tools that will be bought by those who need it and complained about by everyone else.

The 24mm looks like a very nice update too.

On the powershot front, I'm probably going to grab that waterproof/shockproof guy if the price is in line with the other similar offerings from Olympus. I'd love to have a camera we could use around water at the cottage or when camping.
