I know there are a few of you here in Maryland so I thought I'd ask.

I am traveling with the local high school band to a competition in Virginia Beach the weekend of April 15-17th. The events will be held in a church hall and a high school auditorium so the lighting will not be great.

I have the EF 50mm f/1.4 which is fast but not versatile and the EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 which is more versatile but sucks indoors (no flash allowed).

Would anyone be willing to lend me an EF 28-70mm f/2.8 or an EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 for the weekend? I shoot the Canon 7D so the EF-S lens will work.

I know I can rent, and have in the past. I am just looking to save a few bucks as, being a Gov't employee, I have the potential Gov't shutdown and a furlough looming over my head.
