A little LR2 Help

Colors that a post in LR2 are not coming with the export to jpeg. The colors are too damn bright. In LR2 just what I want, I've tried sRGB and Adobe RGB. I'm trying to find my LR2 book, but can't find it anywhere.

Not that it's of much help in fixing your issue, but I'm pretty certain the working space for LR2 is ProPhoto RGB.

It is, I been reading a little more, for post I'll just have to back it off a little on the color. Just looking to see if someone has any quirky tip on the matter.

hate when this kind of thing happens... it sucks to have to change your PP settings to match output. where are you viewing the pictures where they aren't looking right? i mean, what program(s).

had a trouble with this the other day, I had to turn Firefox color management on. Not sure why I hadn't noticed it before, I think it's just more noticeable with certain pix.

I use FF w/mgt turned on, problem is when I just veiwing on the computer using MS picture veiwer.

As note LR2 use ProPhotoRGB, that's where the problem is. I the one's I know that I need to adjust, I just do it. A lot of stuff that I've posted to flickr lately has had some great color. So for the ones that needed it, I've adjusted using CS4.

I've read someone about a 20% reduction "button" using CS4, but I don't know anything more about it. And saving to web is a PITA because most of my images are pretty big.

hmm...

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Lightroo...7F769FFA0.html

The Library module stores Low and Medium quality previews in the Adobe RGB color space, and High quality previews in ProPhoto RGB. These previews are also used when printing in draft mode.

For rendered files such as TIFF, JPEG, and PSD files, Lightroom uses the image’s embedded color profile to display the image, histogram, and color values. If the image doesn’t have a profile, Lightroom assumes the sRGB profile, and the image may not look as expected on your monitor.

...

Lightroom automatically exports images in the Slideshow and Web modules using the sRGB profile so that the color looks good on the majority of computer monitors.
