Lightroom 3 NR vs Noise Ninja?

Debating about picking up a separate NR program....just curious what those of with LR3 (which is has VASTLY improved NR capabilities) have to say about it versus a dedicated NR app...

Looking to move on this very soon if I do, so please let me know ASAP. Thanks.

I haven't really had to mess with much noise, I've used LR3 once or twice. But for real noise, I've used Topaz Labs DeNoise. I suggest you try it before you buy anything else. I got it bundled with other Labs products.

I used DeNoise on the flame images I did back in Nov. work well w/o killing the image.

Not bad, i'll give it shot tonight/tomorrow.

They all seem to cost the same...AND I love how they all try to point at crisp detail...and it just isnt. I just want to know if LR3 is comparable to whats out there, or spend the money for something a lil better.

Looks like im the guinea pig on this :grimace:

I use both topaz denoise and LR3. I think topaz is better, but LR3 is very good. Topaz has more options/sliders to use.

used Noise Ninja with LR2, haven't had a need to leave LR since LR3.
