lcd screening cleaning tips

I just got this camera and it was used and it has fine scratches and finger print oil stains on the lcd screen. Whats a good way to clean that. I've tried water with a microfiber.

I have some Philips LCD screen cleaning gel. It works very well. I use it on my computer monitors and TV, looks like its good for cameras also.
