You have to take into considering her skin tone. The highlights in her face are too much. They are distracting and they take away from her overall beauty.
She needs nice light/soft diffusing make up. Just as she needs nice diffused light. I'm not a fan of bounced light for black skin. But if you do it you still need to send through a layer of diffusion.

I understand where you are coming from. I've done too many diffused lighting shots. I wanted to do more shots with specular highlights. This why I used a beauty dish instead of something more diffused. I think it gives more "life". Many beauty shots have highlights up the wazoo.
There is nothing wrong with highlights, but you have to control them.
Examples:

This is your best one. It could be made even better if you were to tone down the light hitting the center of her forehead. The hard light coming off the side of her face looks great, I love that kind of lighting.
Image #2 where she is standing.
The highlight on the top of her head isn't bad. You can get away with that. But the highlight on her cheekbone is WAY too hot. If you were to dial it down about a stop, it would be more acceptable and less distracting and a great shot.
image #3. The highlights on the side of her face are fine (still a bit hot and spotty for my personal tastes) but the highlights that spill over to her nose and under her cheeks...It makes her nose look really big and flat. And a big highlight under one cheek that isnt under the other. Same with the highlight spot right in the center of her forehead.
