Instructables IR Filter

Of coarse this is only for cameras without the ir filter, but it's pretty neat.

There are allot of things on the site that are in the diy pinhole camera spirit. Making things just because you can kind of stuff. I quite like it.

interesting, particularly the last part about seeing thru peoples close? how would one do that?

i remember back in the late 90s with the sony handycams with the night vision, there was a huge thing about if people added a IR filter to them you could see thru clothes, was wondering if i could achieve something similar

IIRC, you didn't even need the filter. If you used the nightshot in bright daylight it worked. Never did get my hands on one, though.

BTW, that still wouldn't qualify as seeing a woman naked.

cause we have a sony handy cam from around 1998ish with the night vision, but never got around to getting the IR filter cause thats what all the news reports said you needed


maybe ill try this when im at home

Actually, a lot of video camera sensors dip slightly into the near infrared. Just point a remote control at one if you want evidence. Not gonna help you see through clothes though.
