Iceland by Patrick Desgraupes

I just picked up this book the other night and I highly recommend it to anyone who shoots landscapes. Patrick is a well known French photographer who shoots with a 4x5 view camera. The book contains 175 of his best images and the print quality is quite good as well. He's a master of the darkroom. His processing techinque is very creative yet looks completely natural. No filters or digital editing took place in any of the shots.
I've been dreaming of going to Iceland for quite some time, but for now, this book will have to be my portal to this amazing place.
His website is old skool but he has a few nice shots from the book there: http://perso.orange.fr/desgraupes/
You're trying to flirt with me, aren't you Dan?

Iceland has also been on my dream list for a good three years or so now. I've seen a couple of photo expeditions there that while certainly not cheap, seemed far more reasonably priced than an African wildlife safari or Antarctica.

Antarctica is a dream, but unless they invent teleporters, I don't think I'll be making the trip anytime soon.
It's like a week to get there and you can figure on at least $10K for transportation costs. I've seen shots from Greenland that looked like they could have been from antarctica, I wonder what it costs to get there....
