First Night Shot with Multiple Flashes

Here is my first attempt at using external light sources at night. I used two nikon sb-800's hopefully the next time I do it I will have 3 so the middle will be a lit a little more but I need to figure out how I am going to control all 3 first.

Did you try any long exposures on a tripod? I think you're right it needs more fill flash in the middle, and the blowout above the rear tire is distracting. A different, more dramatic angle is what I think it needs most though.

Not bad, but the lighting is uneven, and the background is underexposed. If that's what you were going for, fine, but I think it would look better with more even lighting and a more balanced exposure.

Like SVTmike said it needs a more dramatic angle. Some sort of angle that you wouldn't normally see every day. No offense but it's just a boring picture of the side of a car. The same lighting effect at a different angle could produce a much more dramatic photograph.

I like the attempt... Awesome job putting it out there. I wish I took the time and had the resources to experiment with stuff like that. Even with digital I find I am still hesitant to take risk.
3 light sources would certainly look good, and would probably let you alter the elevations a bit to smooth out the ground shadows. It looks like your placement was a little high.
