Eggs in one basket

I read someone on here give someone advice on not putting all your eggs in one basket and good god you were right. I had my 2 gb sd card crap out on me luckily I can return it. But I am now replacing it with 4 512mb cards...plus they only cost $12 now

So yeah Noobs like me don't get them not worth it

Plus my Ultra 1 gig card went dead on me too on the same day 2 different problems with 2 different cards...lets just say I lost about 50 pictures

It's certainly not unusual.

I've been using my 1 gig microdrives for 4+years without any problems...maybe your cam is frying the cards?

I got a 512 for $20 AR at circuit city last night. Not $12, but not bad.

I've had two cards go dead in the last six months. Probably the camera breaking them though.

Wow, that sucks. I've been lucky, but that's one of those nightmare stories. I can imagine being abroad on vacation and losing 1000 shots. Would really suck. I'll be investing in some sort of external drive eventually.
