I have been harrasing my cat with the camera - just getting some practice. The nice thing is that he is always around and he puts up with it - although he doesnt like the flash much. Here are 2 shots that I kinda liked.

This first one is actually a 30sec exposure. It was going to underexpose so I painted him with a mini flashlight - I shoulda painted out the shadows. He was sleeping on the floor in the dark - I could barely see him to setup the shot - but he held nice and still. Needs some color correction though.


This one I like because the DOF and focus highlights the toy, not him.

 

Nice pics. His face looks ALOT like my cat. My cat's alot fatter though haha

 

I like the really warm tone of the wood in the first one. If you have a go at color correcting, see if you can select just Mr. Cat and leave the wood as is.
