DPP Question
DPP Question
Ok, so I just started using DPP, and I can't figure out how to save and then find my processed photos. I thought you just click "add recipe and save as," but the changes aren't being saved as far as I can tell. I'm confused, because I see the revised photos in DPP and I see the file names in My Pictures, but when I open the ones in My Pictures, it's the original photo and not the revised one.
What am I doing wrong and where do I find my processed images?

Are you processing RAW's? When you convert & save are saving as RAW or jpg?
Is it just the thumbnail that still looks like the original or have you tried opening the actual file, and your changes are gone?

So it's "convert & save" I have to do? I couldn't see anything that told me how to save stuff, so I was doing "add recipe and save as" (my thinking was that the "recipe" was my changes). Everything is being saved as jpg - I can see them in my My Pictures folder and also in DPP itself. Just the thumbnail in DPP has the changes, and the file that's in My Pictures doesn't, even though I can tell it's the new file because I saved them with -rev on the end so I can tell which ones are the processed ones. I don't get it.

If you know anyone who has a student ID or is a Teacher, you can get Lightroom for $99.00 via Adobe's education store. You can download a 30 day trial. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshoplightroom/
