Canon bitten-
Canon bitten-
After two months of ownership with the Nikon D300, I can really say it's been an amazing and awesome camera, definitely WAY more superior to the frail XTi I've been using so far. I've gotten used to the controls and the way Nikons work in general. The quality of images still suprises me and is quite remarkable, it's really a precision tool. For the price I picked it up for, it was definitely a steal.

But to repeat the words of a certain famous jupitersolo "you've been bitten" it was a matter of time. Being a hardcore Canon fanatic, I went ahead and purchased a full frame 5D MKii and a few lenses.
I haven't used it much as I got it all on friday and haven't had time to sit down and play around with it.
Canon 5D Mark ii 21.1 MP
Canon 580EX
Lenses:
Canon EF 70-200mm L
(I bought this one used as it was way too much new)
Canon 14mm F/2.8 L II
CanonF 16-35mm f/2.8L
pics

Enjoy.

That is a nice kit. When you buy a camera and a few lenses you don't mess around. I'd be tempted to hang on to the excellent D300 so I'd have both a crop body and a full frame body, since each has its strengths. But it might be worth selling the D300 and nabbing a 50D/40D so you can use all your lenses.
Anyway, nice setup.
