I'll guess I'll be the first to ask what a rough estimate for that setup is. Looks crazy.

The lenses are about 5g each...there is a set of 5 there. the mattebox/rods/follow focus is probably another 5-10g because they are arri brand.
The rest of the stuff is mine...not too bad.

Certain pro gear is nice if you have the means to afford things for it. There is no reason to buy a fixed lens camera any more these...expect maybe for reality (and im talking for pro use) And the really good pro gear gets exponentially more expensive.
True cine lenses come in at 20-30 grand PER lens for primes....60-150k for zooms.
Since Im a Nikon shooter, this set up makes sense...most of the gear I dont have is cheap and easy enough to rent for shoots such as the short I am currently shooting this weekend. The first day of which was today...and was a giant pain in my ass (working with green people.)

Impressive setup! I can see an EOS C300 box in there, how does that compare to your setup? I know it's not really a fair comparison as it's a $15k body to a D800 $3k, but I was wondering if it's completely different or not that much.

Some of the ergonomics are very different...some of the functions/features/etc.
But since I was recording externally to 10 bit 4.2.2 there isnt much it has on me image wise.
