I bought a Panasonic DMC FX-07 on eBay. It arrived in like new condition, was actually in better shape then I was expecting. Unfortunately while I was working, the screen somehow cracked. I don't know when or how, I just took it out of it's hard case and the screen was cracked. Put a big damper on my day. Anyway, I was wondering if there is a good source to buy LCD screen cheap or should I try to pick on up on ebay that has some other issue cheap. I don't know how easy it would be to replace, but if I can get a new screen cheap enough, whether direct from a retailer or something, or through ebay, I figure I have nothing to lose at this point.

i replaced two LCDs... but they were on the Canon Powershot... u will need to take out the LCD to get the model number that is printed on it... then i just googled the model # and was able to find a store that sold replacements... the screen was like 30 bucks + shipping... u just need to take your time and go slow with it...

Really, it was that cheap? That's not bad at all. If I can successfully replace the screen, even with that added cost I would still be a couple hundred below what the camera originally would have cost in stores. I'll have to give it a shot. How hard was it for you to get the screen out of the powershot?

i really need to replace the screen on my powershot SD400. the screen is pretty scratched up and there is a spot where the anti-reflective coating has come off.

I have replaced one on a canon powershot as well and it was only 30 for the screen

just take ur time... it is a few screws and a few clips that hold the case together... gentle with the ribbon though... it is so tiny...
