Nice. Good piece about Ansel Adams' influence on photography. Must've been hard to choose just thirteen pics out of the countless thousands taken over the years.

I know I'm heavily biased in this regard, but I don't see how any list of historically significant photos can omit

There are some of my favorites in that article, but of course there are hundreds more that could have made the list. Billiam's is one of my all time favorites too. It's the ultimate landscape shot.

Good point...that is quite a historic photo....the list is great, but I'm sure there are alot more that should be on that list...or that list should be longer.

Interesting, but I am more surprised they missed Iwo than that of the Earth... Afterall, the bonds from that photo may very well have allowed us to win the war.
