Yeah, this was at a local park and to the left was a grouping of random cars so I cut it shorter, to the right there was an RV so I literally framed as much as I could without including any distractions. I do appreciate the comment though, keeps me sharp!
trees in winter = me like.

They had this outside of the east wing of the National Gallery of Art (that's the modern art wing). My GF and I stood there a few minutes trying to figure out whether it was trash or a sculpture...

Either way, it looked cool.

I should mention the East Wing is undergoing renovations and there is lots of construction material/trash all around the building at the moment - hence my comment. I wasn't disparaging modern art. It really is quite possible this is truly trash (perhaps from a stage/auditorium).

From the perspective, it appears that you did not want to stand in the middle of that river to get a ground level shot.
Why in the world did you not want to jump right in there?

Speaking of moving on... back to BW photos!
I made my own customized credit card with this photo on it:

I like my card, and telling people I took the pic when someone asks :-)

Pttl, did you ever make it down to shoot, or did the weather get in the way?
Yeah, this weather has blown. Might have made for some interesting pics, but if you're not there right after it falls, it gets a bit gross. Good luck!
I went to college with dancers...seeing these poses don't really shock or appall me. I get the physiology and how muscles work in movement and tandem...which comes from my fine art days, where I specialized in figures.
But that foot....its like a playing card...where there is a mirror image under her dress walking around on their hands...

He's the lead singer of the band Ghost. Or "Ghost BC" here in the states.

It does.
