** AcuraZine Photo Contest #9 **
The theme of this contest is "Reflections" - as chosen by Beelzebub.
The rules for this contest are as follows:
-Any interpretation of the theme that falls within AcuraZine rules is welcome.
-You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
-One submission per contest.
-Images must be no larger than 800px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 800px for the poll.
-All contestants must host their own pictures.
-All pictures must have a title.
-While post processing in photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photochopped" the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.
Important dates and poll info:
Entries must be submitted to this thread no later than Friday, November 10th @ 4:59pm EST. The poll will start on Saturday, July 11th @ 5pm EST and will allow again for multiple votes. The poll will close at 5pm on Wednsday 15th. In the event of a tie, we will have a lightning round of voting from 5:01 to 12:00pm EST where people get one vote.
These changes should give everyone more time to work on their entries and will also let voters give kudos to a few of their favorites instead of only picking one winner.
As always, the contest winner gets to choose the theme for the next contest and the honor of creating the thread for it. They will also be recorded in the official "AcuraZine Photo Contest Hall of Fame" thread.
Good luck everyone! Be creative and original!

He's DJ Chris Allen. He wanted some shots done for his European tour, and wanted a grungy feel to them. This was shot at Islington subway station in Toronto.
I suck at portraits, but I thought at least this one was creative.

I used to charter a sailboat down in the British Virgin Islands and we would get a 45 for 5 people.
No captain, we could do that our selfs.

Clay, you've used that pic before, and it's too big, please resize at the least.

We were looking at that size for 4 people, or possibly a 46' cat (4 staterooms) for 7 of us. I think we're leaning toward the cat - it is SWEET. We just all have to manage to get the time off at the same time. If you have any tips on where to sail or what islands not to miss, pm me. We're looking for any input we can get! We, too, are captaining our own. Someone will have to do the ASA catamaran class, though, if we decide to go with the cat. Either way, it'll be a great trip!

Been a while since I shot a nice reflection pic. Here's an oldie:
Actually, these topics would be better if they were new pictures only. It's easy to dig through old pictures and find good ones. It's harder & more interesting to say, 'go find a neat reflection next week'.

^^^ I agree - being able to use old pix makes you lazy. At least that's what happens to me, lol.
