I went to one of our lakes that has tons of birds. I got some pics of a duck getting laid. They suck because I rushed it and didn't want to be "that guy" who likes taking pictures of duck fucking.

I really struggled for this contest to get something I liked. I have had lots of shooting opportunities, but came up dry on the topic...

I did find a hawks nest with young ones, I didn't have my camera with me of course I will go back some other time, but I think I need more focal length.

IMO, the last few contests have felt like they were dragging on forever. Do we really need an entire month (not including week of voting) to finish up a topic? Seems long.

 

agreed. I want to get on to the next topic already so i can shoot some new stuff

 

Some of us don't have a lot of time to shoot, And we might need a month to get the shot.

And before we would announce the topic long before the actual contest started.
