just curious...how many of these are zoo shots? ...that way i won't feel so bad if that's what i end up submitting...

 

mine was just in the park walking around, and sometimes even outside my dorm.

 

I find Hungry Owl creepy as all hell.

mine is a zoo shot.. i didnt see any exceptions in the contest.. how often do you see an owl with a dead rat? lol

 

I think zoo shots are fine. It's not like most of us get the chance to go on safari.

 

damn it, I went to Stanley Park today, and there weren't anything worth taking

 

since this is wildlife (and plants are alive)... i saw this growing at a wildlife preserve.

I was wondering the same thing since I'm not sure there was a definitive answer to the question. But since a number of the photos already posted are older, I guess I'm going to take that as a 'yes' -- past photos are OK. I'm still going to try for a new photo in any case.

Turtle Taxi

Found these two near each other in the backyard this afternoon and decided to have a little fun (yes, I'm easily entertained). The toad actually stayed on for a brief ride.
