Alright Guys! I know we are a limited group here in CEN-CAL, but I figured I would start this caravan thread anyways. My goal is to have so-cal & nor-cal people suggest routes that they are going to take & hopefully combine our group with their pack.

SIDE NOTES & SUGGESTIONS :
Last year we drove up with a few other guys. (G35 right?) Anybody know of any other caravans from FRESBURG? RSX ? NSX?

Also, depending on the so-cal & nor-cal groups, we can either travel down the 180 & hit I-5 to meet with any so-cal-ers... or we could roll up the 99 through MO-TWON & roll through OAKLAND across the BAY BRIDGE.

 

we could meet you guys there if we run out of things to do. we will be in the Union square area

HRM... the NSX guys have 15 NSX's at wekfest again! But I dunno if we are up for driving all the way up to sac for their caravan.

 

Lol! Woah! I say just stick to the plan maybe meet them around sf area if possible. But I know since they are in the show, they would have to go early to park their cars like last year roll call and sign in was around 7 - 8 for registered cars.

 

Where are we meeting up at on Sunday morning? I'm probably going to stay there until monday night. Gonna take the gf shopping.

Hey Rog, the gf is rolling up a day early with her cousin to visit her sis in san jose, I'm gonna have to take the route to sf through san jose to pick her up Sunday. Do you guys wanna roll that way through san jo?

^I agree, lets find a parking structure! I know traffic is gonna be a beezy! Easier to walk or take a transit from a parking structure rather than parking there.

Anyone know where to pick up some flyers? Im in sac.

 

You can pick up flyers in sf at fatlace(japantown) or weksos industries. I only know those 2 places have them, maybe there more but that's the only 2 i know of.

But the bad news..... Flyers ran out weeks ago. LOL

What part of SJ are we going to? That way we could streamline our route.

 

keep me posted where in SJ you guys are. Depending on our staging time for my team, we may join in on this caravan and break off at the show to stage.

Well I'm just picking up the gf at her sis place then we can meet anywhere if u guys roll through this way. Not trying to lead a pack of cars into downtown sj haha! Traffic is not too bad it by the highway

 

ah ok lol. near the highway isn't bad. Wasn't sure how deep you were going. I'll be with my team but am not driving the TL. My fiance is driving it. I'm driving a slammed EVO so not risking any crazy downtown streets. Only reason i'm curious is i need to know when Roger will be in my area...

 

UPDATE! Just got off the phone with Eddie. They (TeamRev) are leaving Eddies house off of Capital & the 101 around 8:30AM. I say we Caravan with them. We always bitch about not having a caravan to join. Well here is our chance. I personally don't wana miss it.

ITS GUNA BE EARLY! BUT REMEMBER it could be worse....the San Diego guys left at 4AM to get to the OC & LA caravans for ACURAFEST.

alright, I might be down for this. Im usually in sac on the weekends but live in the 707. wzup w/ parking ?

^Parking shouldn't be too bad as they got a larger area this year for the event. But you may have to find a parking structure to park when the parking new the event gets full and traffic is going to be a beezy near the show.

 

There is a parking garage near Pier 39 which is 6 blocks down. It's a bit of a walk but you'll be able to find parking if you can't find parking near fort mason. Use this garage as your last resort option. No guarantee as this structure can be filled up rather quickly depends how busy Fisherman's wharf gets but coming in that early, i think you'll be fine....

FYI, that pier 39 garage has tons of speed bumps. and its expensive... like $6/hr

 

you can actually park at the lots right outside of the pavilion. i don't think they are all being used for the show. it might be wise to head up well before 11 to try to snag parking in the lot FM lot itself.

1. NSXPRIME guys had their check in moved to 8:30am.... No NSXs for our caravan.

2. Also SF just announced a new "parking citation" effort. Theier goal is to close a 21million dollar defecit... SO REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR MEETER PAYED UP!

3.Noah is organizing an AZINE SHOOT after the show. Its guna be a great time to get some incredible shots! Bring your cameras... Noah knows SF like the back of his hand & I know he has some great locations scouted!
