we could use the same spot as last year in morgan hill i think it was. that target parking lot. we could meet there then hop back on 101S then jump to 152 all the way out to 99.
i could actually go south and join the sj group or i could go east from hayward and go past dublin/pleasanton. driving time difference according to google is 1 minute. lol.

@Trung: yea that was a good place to meet. i'm down for that. we can have another small caravan to the bigger caravan like we had last year as well?? those in the Hayward, San Leandro, CV and surrounding areas, we can meet up at Southland Mall at 9:00 then head to the big caravan in Morgan Hill.

from sacramento to morgan hill takes about 2 hours. we are meeting at 10 and probably chill around until 10:30. We'll probably start heading out after 10:40 or so. It takes roughly 2 hrs to get to Fresno. FYI our very 1st all cali, we left at 8:30AM or so.
ahhh..so your the one with the bad tires

that's what i suggested!!
hopefully there's a spot somewhere along the 99 where all the caravans can meet up from NorCal
and yea we don't drive speed limit..like i said, i don't think my right foot ever left the floor!

yea it wouldn't make sense for you sac guys to meet up with us unless its along the 99 somewhere before we head into Fresno. hopefully if there's a good size rest stop along the 99 then we can all meet there? we stopped at a rest stop on the way down to Pismo last year, basically took over the whole rest stop

well from Morgan Hill, most likely we'll be crossing over onto 152 to get to 99 so somewhere those two highways cross or a lil down further on 99? like Madera? i don't know what's down there but i'm sure there's something we can all gather before we head into Fresno.

yea it looks like Madera would have something like a place since its kind of the only thing on the map before we reach Fresno. Any locals can help us out with a good location to meet up before we roll in??

~Theres a home depot off avenue 16, exit 156. The parking lot looks pretty big and its half full from the aerial view.
~Madera Marketplace: off exit 155- west cleveland ave. I believe you were talking about this. There is a walmart there. The parking lot is even bigger then exit 156 and the middle of the lot is empty, away from the walmart. There is a chevron off the freeway for people needing gas
The walmart has a lot of people and the only empty spots are in the middle of the whole lot. But it can be easily found.
The home depot exit maybe less crowded and it may not have as much people/traffic. Also we can meet along the edge of the lot facing the road. easily seen by the bay or sac group, whoever comes second.
So what you guys think? I vote the home depot.

I would be cool if we meet at the saturn lot.
I dunno yet. I have to see my work schedule, and i wont know that till the end of june. Thats when all you guys can expect to see if im coming or not. But i still do wanna help plan the caravan for my nor cal dudes.
Makes no sense for me to go "alight im going! now we got 4 more weeks to plan a caravan." Sooner is better then later.

i'm not speaking on behalf of all of us coming from Morgan Hill, but i think the Home Depot lot sounds like a good idea..hope some others chime in on this..i don't want to make the final decision..just want something to work for everyone and to also meet you folks coming from sac/eg so we all roll in together Norcal style!

I think Elk Grove Acura along the "stockton Blvd" street, (parallel to 99) would be good. There is a lot of parkingspace by the dealerships, i think fellow Aziners will be able to identify whose going to the ALL CALI MEET. "BLUE PAINTERS TAPE ANYONE?"
